Rant .We all spend our lives waiting for something better. For the world to change, just for our insignificant selves. All we do is plan for the future. Get an education to get a career. Get a career to retire. Retire to die. Die to what? Be remembered in several hundred years? Only the delusional believe such promises of false hope. It’s been said a thousand times and it’ll be said again: nobody gets out alive. Living in the present is all anyone really has given to them, yet there’s an increasing percentage of people who live their lives for someone else and their expectations. Why? The present is fleeting. Who knows when your time will come? We’re all too ugly, too good, too fat, too young and old for everyone. Physical inequalities that we have created for one another, just to categorize our society. All of those classifications seem to put a definite price tag on our chests of how much we are worth in a stranger’s eye. Yet we still seem to live our lives to impress. Whether it be the general public or a loved one, we’re letting our time slip away day by day to people who won’t stay with us forever. In your final moments, do you really want to inhale your last breath thinking "I never really lived?"
